Please let me know all the investigation reports including the viral load. The viral load will be higher in an acute phase. Please let me know more details with the symptoms to guide you in a better way. Please make sure to maintain good hygiene to avoid spreading as it spreads through the body fluids.

Ayurvedic medicines like Patola Katurohinyadi kvath - 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily, Shad dharanam tablet - one tablet after food twice daily and Nirocil tablet - one tablet twice daily after food can be taken for a month and then reviewed.

Good sleep, proper rest, drinking enough water and mild exercise will be beneficial to support the metabolism.

Eat freshly cooked warm foods and include berries, barley, bottle gourd, cucumber, radish leaves, rasam, tomato juice, buttermilk, pepper, coriander and turmeric. Reduce excess canned foods, meat, cold foods, spicy foods, oil, sweet and salt. Please try to do regular checkups as advised to know the improvement after taking medicines.

Is your brother doing Pranayama along with treatment? Hepatitis B is definitely curable by doing pranayama as I can see the testimonials written in "Yog in synergy with medical science". There has been 4 cases mentioned in the book where Hepatitis B was completely cured with lab reports attached. Take your brother to Patanjali Yog Peeth Haridwar where he can be diagnosed by more proficient doctors.
