Hello,Since the creatinine is only bio product which is filtered as such by kidneys. Thus, the high creatinine level in blood indicates decreased filtration process by glomerular capsule. The ratio of creatinine in blood and urine is required to have the accurate glomerular filtration rate. Also the detailed reports of HbA1c(if has history of diabetes),renal functioning test, liver functioning test, ultrasonography, renal CT scans are required to evaluate further.Ayurvedic medicines should be taken for 3 months along with convectional medicines, later on convectional medicines can be reduced in tapering fashion.1.varunadi kwath-30ml in equal amount of water twice a day after meals.2.punarnava mandur-250mg with luke warm water after meals twice a day.3.mutrakrichantak churan-1 tablespoon with luke warm water after meals.4.gokshura guggul-2 tablets twice a day after meals with luke warm water. In panchkarma ,niruh basti with punarnavadi kwath should be done regularly as it act as local dialysis and helps in decreasing the urea and creatinine levels in blood.

I have suffering chronic kidney disease from 2014,when my s/cr was 2.8, now s/cr is 5.2, b/urea is 112, sodium is 141 & potassium is 4.1,this is caused due to high blood pressure. I will be grateful to kindly suggest me which Ayurv. Medicines to be taken and yoga/pranayam to be carried out to reduce/control the s/cr & b/urea.

Chronic kidney disease in your father can only be managed with ayurvedic medicines along with present allopath care. As your father is suffering from chronic condition, treatment goal is to manage proper kidney functioning, and to maintain healthy functioning of kidneys. As it is not possible to cure the condition only with ayurvedic medicines, it is better to manage with diet and modified healthy activities which is necessary.Following some rules in food is very important like your father needs high calories, and needs low protein and low salts, less potassium. Well cooked food is indicated, if you are giving any leafy vegetables, after boiling, drain excess water. Avoid consuming excess fruits or fruit juices. You should not provide excess roasted or salted food items like cheese, butter etc, do not consume beverages, carbonated beverages etc.To maintain mental stability, you can ask him to practice yoga and pranayama.Following medicines like Package Medicine that contains multiple medicines such Divya Vrkka Dosa-Hara Kwatha, Divya Sarvkalp Kwath, Divya Giloy Sat, Divya Vasanta Kusumakara Rasa, Divya Hajarula Yahuda Bhasma, Divya Punarnavadi Mandura, Divya Chandraprabha Vati, Divya Gokshuradi Guggulu, Divya Vrikkadoshar vati for internal usage. You can have consultation with registered physician for any doubts.

With regards,Dr.Vijay.
