Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

The bulge in the L4 - l5 discs cause radiating pain due to the compression of the adjacent nerve. Ayurvedic medicines and treatments can be taken to reduce the pain. Try to maintain proper postures and avoid lifting heavy weights which may trigger the pain.

Ayurvedic medicines like Gandharvahastadi Kvath- 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily, Divya Vatari Choorna and MahaYograja guggulu can be taken for a month and then reviewed. Sahacharadi thailam can be used to massage the lower limbs.

Include broccoli, leafy vegetables, olive oil, sesame seeds and nuts. Reduce excess cold refrigerated foods, sugar, salt, refined flour and fried foods. Yogasanas like Shavasana, Paravatasana, Paschimottasana, Dhanurasana, Matsyasana, Trikonasana, Malasana, Bidalasana and Pavanamuktasana can be practised.
