Hi , I am 44 year old female. I have a history of excessive belching. Usually it last for a week or 2 and it subside by taking probiotic drink. This time excessive belching episodes are more often. I feel I have huge air ball stuck in chest and throat. I always have the urge to get the air out of my mouth. Constant belching makes my throat very dry and I don't feel hungry. This air does not have any food taste. This excessive belching issue aggravates in the evening. I am afraid to fall asleep due to the fear that how I will expel the air out of my mouth. I have got the blood work and stool test done. Doctor says my blood work is OK but stool test shows presence of parasite. Doctor has prescribed me antibiotic Metronidazole. I have started taking it for past 3 days. But today again I have an episode of excessive belching. Please suggest some ayurvedic medication to help with excessive belching.
