Ayurvedic Medicine

Fatty liver is a common finding that is seen in routine screening. It can be maintained without progressing by following healthy lifestyle changes. The medicines can be taken for 3months and then it can be reviewed with relevant investigations. Medicines must be continued for longer periods only after consulting an Ayurvedic physician.

Along with Liv 52, you can take Ayurvedic medicines like Patolakaturohinyadi kwath - 15ml of kwath with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily and Triphala Churna for a month and then reviewed.

Include easily digetsable food, berries, cucumber, phyllanthus niruri, cumin, cinnamon, bottle gourd, ginger and turmeric. Reduce excess caffeine, sugar, raw foods, oily, fatty fried foods, salt and refined flour. Yogasanas like Marajaryasana, Navasana, Malasana, Utkadasana, Janusirsasana, Paschimottasana, Halasana, Shalabhasana, Bhujangasana and Trikonasana are beneficial.
