Ayurvedic Medicine

The surgery is preferred when the symptoms do not respond to medicines and the size of the stone is larger than 3cm. The stone may sometimes block the cystic duct and cause acute cholecystsitis.

It may produce symptoms like severe pain, irritation, pain radiating to the shoulder blade. It makes the gallbladder hard and thick will reduce the efficiency of the work in releasing bile. So if this is the cause for the acute pain, she has to take antibiotics and pain killers to avoid further complications like peritonitis or empyema. But sometimes the pain reduces on its own.

So please consult with your doctor about the pain management and once the pain is managed you can give her Ayurvedic medicines which will help to reduce the size of the stone and improve the function of the gall bladder.

Eat healthy food by including olive oil, avocados which are beneficial. Reduce saturated fat like red meat, fried oily foods, caffeine, alcohol. Yogasanas like Vajrasana, Padmasana, Halasana, Dhanurasana, Bhujangasana, Paschimottasana are beneficial.

Hello,

Surgical removal of gallbladder termed Cholecystectomy is indicated when it is symptomatic like severe pain after a meal which is called biliary colic,or when the gall stone size is more than 3cm. If the pain attack is severe and she has recurrent attacks of the colic then surgery is an option. Laparoscopic surgery is the gold standard for surgical treatment. You can take the opinion of one more surgeon as to whether surgery is the only solution or whether it can be managed with medicines . There are few diet pattern which will help her. Avoid meals high in fat content, fried items , diary products like butter, cheese, ghee. Take small frequent meals rather than 3 heavy meals. Drink plenty of water and use coriander for boiling water .Include green gram soup, mixed vegetable soup any one time in diet. Include citrus fruits, apple, cucumber in diet. Do regular yoga so that her body metabolism gets corrected on its own.Medicines she can use:

1) Padolady Kwadha : 15ml + 45 ml luke warm water wice daily 1hr before food.

2)Arogyavardhini Vati : 2-0-2 After food
