Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

In ayurveda, parkinsonism and Alzheimer’s comes under vata diseases category or kampa vata. The disease is associated with certain symptoms like shaky hands, and sometimes head, difficulty in walking as you stated, which may appear in chronic conditions, and in advanced stages, there may be difficulty in speech, and imbalance, and other symptoms like mask-like expression less face, constipation, dizziness, stiffness, and rigidity of muscles and loss of smell etc are also quite common. Modern researches shows a decreased synthesis of a chemical neurotransmitter called dopamine in the central nervous system of Parkinson patients and Alzheimer’s.

As your 55-year-old mother is presenting such similar symptoms on a dramatic way since 5 years, it is better to put her on certain ayurvedic therapies like Panchakarma treatments, shirodhara, abhyanga, etc. Even she can practice yoga and pranayama which is very helpful if she practices under supervision of trainer.

Following medicines are helpful for your mother such as Package Medicine that contain multiple medicines which are meant for this Alzheimer’s condition.

You can try to provide these medications for her, and if you have any doubts, you can contact nearest ayurvedic physician.

With regards,

Dr. Vijay.

Parkinsons disease is a degenerative disease of nervous system. This is chronic and pregressive disease of nervous system. The central nervous system is the worst affected. This disease results in degenerative changes of central nervous system which in turns impairs the motor skills or motor activities of affected person. The movements of patient becomes unnatural and even speech is disturbed. The muscles of patients become rigid and tremors make limb and body movements jerky and difficult. Some times in extreme cases of Parkinsons disease the movements are completely lost which is termed as akinesia. The main reason behind the Parkinsons disease (PD) is inefficient production and functions of dopamine. We recommend you to take a complete course of package for parkinsonism treatment to delay the degenerative changes and strengthen the nervous system. A regular course of these ayurvedic medicines strengthens nerves, muscles and improves general body health. It helps in restoring the natural activity of nervous system and improves muscle activity. The memory, muscles movements and ability of person are improved many folds. Take these medicines and practice pranayams. Kapalbhati, bhramri and anulom vilom very useful for you. Practice pranayms in fresh air of early morning. Shirodhara and massage with medicated oils is good and helpful. Further queries are welcome.
