Liver cirrhosis is scarring of liver which reduces the circulation to the liver. It increases the blood flow in the oesophagus and causes varices. It will increase the risk of bleeding. Advanced stage of cirrhosis causes hypoalbuminemia and there will be a deficiency of albumin. Please let me know the liver function test to guide you better.

Ayurvedic medicines like Divya Sarvakalp kwath, Vasavleh and Liverex Tablet for liver can be taken for a month and then reviewed.

Eat cooked easily digestable warm fresh food. Include goose berry, garlic, berries, turmeric, spinach and bottle gourd. Reduce excess oil, sugar, tea, carbonated beverages, fat, coffee, spicy, cold refrigerated foods and salt. Please do have regular checkups and follow the advise of your treating physician.

My mother is suffering from Mild Liver Cirrhosis non Alchoholic. Her age is 51. We came to know about this 10 days back when her bilirubin reached at 12.58. Her SGOT & SGPT are 565 & 305 resp.Albumin is 3.0.Her Pt-Test & INR are 26.0 & 2.22.No ascites till now. All her Hepatisis tests are negetive. Her utrasound report says CLD. CT Scan says liver size of 12.8 cm. Can this be curable by ayurvedic medicines? Please thrrow some light. Thanks.

As you are suffering from liver cirrhosis, one should follow multiple regimens which include allopath support in case of emergencies and there are natural remedies which are good and that include Ayurveda, siddha, and other system of medicines along with yoga and pranayama. In order to protect liver, you need to follow modified lifestyle, and restricted diet which is very important. You need to avoid spicy foods, oily fried food items, and you may consume veggies which is very helpful. If you are having habits of alcohol or smoking habits, you may stop immediately. As you are willing to consume cows urine for the same problem, you can consume that if the source is authentic and cow’s urine alone will not serve the purpose. You may need to consume other medicines such as Package Medicine that contains Divya Sarva-Kalpa Kwatha, Divya Kaya-Kalpa Kwatha, Divya Pravala Panchamrita, Divya Kasees Bhasma, Divya Swarna Maksika Bhasma, Amrta Sattva, Divya Swarna Basant Malati, Divya Udaramrita Vati, and Divya Arogyawardhini Vati in prescribed form.

If you have any doubts, you can approach.

With regards,

Dr. Vijay.
