Ayurvedic Medicine

It is becoming more common with young people to be diagnosed with Hypertension. Systemic diseases like hyper tension cannot be cured but can be controlled and managed effectively with medicines and life style changes. It normally happens in younger adults due to improper eating, sedentary lifestyle, smoking, alcohol, stress, family history or any other systemic illness. If there is no such cause it is Essential hypertension. As it does not produce any symptoms it has to be checked periodically.

You can continue with your Allopathy medicine - Envas and Ayurvedic medicine like Sarpagandha Vati - one tablet after food at bed time can be taken along with it. With proper lifestyle changes and exercise, try to control your blood presure without increasing the strength of the medicine.

Eat healthy food with more vegetables and fruits. Include foods rich in fiber like whole grains, brown rice, garlic, cardomom, basil, turmeric, ginger, olive oil, nuts. Reduce salt, fried fatty foods. Practise Yogasanas like Paschimottasana, Dhanurasana, Matsyasana, Shavasana, Mandookasana and Yoga nidra. Pranayamam like Brhmari, Kapala bhati, Anulom-vilom and Meditation helps to reduce the stress. Have good sleep and take proper rest. Do regular checkups.

Hello,

Nowadays it is becoming common to find hypertension among youth. The common causes for hypertension are Stress, lifestyle, junk food, family history and other systemic diseases.

It is better to monitor your blood pressure at least once in two weeks. As there is no family history and no other significant illness in your case,it will be mostly due to stress or imbalanced diet.

Avoid consuming junk foods, oily foods, pickles, highly salted food for a while.Include more fruits, green leafy vegetables and high fiber food in your diet.

Practice Pranayama and Yoga regularly which helps to get rid of hypertension.Along with the above general management i shall also suggest you some homeopathic medicines which helps to normalize your hypertension.

  1. Glonoine 200, four pills to be taken half an hour before bed time.

2.3. Nux vomica 200,single powder dose half an hour after food.

It is advisable to consult a nearby homeopathic physician who will help you to find out the cause if any and then treat accordingly.

Hello,

Currently hypertension is seen as an increasing health problem among youth. There are several reasons which are responsible for hypertension ranging from genetics to food habits.

Here i shall suggest you a few remedies and medicines which are helpful in controlling blood pressure.

  • Reduce the amount of salt in your diet. This is seen as the prime factor which is responsible for hypertension.

  • Avoid junk food, fast foods and oily ones as much as possible. Include more of green leafy vegetables and fruits in diet. Have good quantity of water as well.

  • Practice pranayama and meditation. These techniques are seen to give relaxation to both mind and body. This will easily help reduce stress thereby reducing hypertension. These techniques shall be learned from a well experienced yoga master.

  • Foods which can be consumed include apple, apricot, banana, broccoli and orange. All these will help to bring down blood pressure.

  • Divya mukta vati for high blood pressure - This medicine shall be taken at a dosage of 2 tab twice daily after food. You can avoid allopathic medicine during this time as excessive dosage of medicines can lead to hypotension.
