Ayurvedic Medicine

As Hepatitis C and Polycystic kidneys are chronic conditions which are managed by the symptoms and blood tests, you have to continue with the Allopathy medicines and regular checkups. Polycystic kidneys damage the kidneys affecting the function which normally happens due to genetic reasons.

Dialysis helps to improve the function of the kidneys. Please follow as advised by the treating physician. As the hepatitis C is also reactive, Allopathy medicines must be continued.

Ayurvedic medicines like Giloy Churna and Punarnavadi Kvath - 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food can be taken for a month and then reviewed.

Include turmeric, cinnamon, cranberries, cucumber and plantain stem. Reduce salt, fried fatty foods, refined flour and sugar. Please check the blood pressure, blood sugar and blood cholesterol levels regularly. Having regular checkups will help to prevent further damage to the liver and kidneys.

Hello Mr. Naveen,

As your mother is suffering from multiple complications including Hepatitis C Virus positive and renal problems where she is under dialysis, there are very limited medications in Ayurveda, however we can improve her quality life and manage symptomatically. Allopath medicines sometimes give side effects and based on that she must be prepared for all types of complications and has to get appropriate attention. In her case liver functioning is not well you can start giving following medications that helps to bring down viral load. So, at present do not stop allopath medications, Here I am suggesting some herbal decoctions which you need to give her on daily basis so that infections will come down and she can be alright.

Following medicines such as Organic Liver Kidney Care Capsules one-one twice daily and Divya Vrikkdoshahar Kwath prepare a decoction of 100 ml by adding 300 ml and reduce it to 100 ml by boiling and then divide it into 50ml and 50 ml and add one teaspoon of Tulsi Giloy Churna and consume twice daily before food.

Follow strict diet which is very important and avoid junk food, canned food, or packed food that contains too many preservatives. She can lead healthy life by putting proper control on food intake and she can mild to moderate exercises depending up on the severity of symptoms.
