Ayurvedic Medicine

Kidney failure starts in children due to congenital or acquired cause. But in most of the cases it will be a acquiredproblem. It can be acute or end stage problem. In end stage problem where the kidneys function less than 15% of the kidney function, it is treated with dialysis or kidney transplantation.

As your son is very young, please consult an Ayurvedic doctor with all your blood and urine tests, to understand it better. Ayurvedic medicines can be supplemented along with the allopathy medicines whichwill help to improve the function of the kidneys. Please let me know the blood results to guide you further.

As it is a systemic disease, you must do regular checkups, give him the medications and treatments to improve the function of the kidneys. Give him healthy food as advised by your doctor.

Dear Mr Sharma,

Thank for your reply.Yesterday we had an appointment in Hospital and now came to know that my son right ureter is blocked from 3 parts. Kidney is working 7 % but the urine is not going through from kidney to ureter in the bladder. Dr. had inserted a tube to collect the urine outside in the bag from last 2 months. But it is dangerous for long time to see the kidney function they have tried to insert it, but were not successful because of blocked ureter. Now they have given a new appointment on 19 nov to operate the ureter from upper and lower part and then join it. But if they will not success to operate it then remove the kidney.Which we don't want.Pls help us if anything can happen. Is there any medicine which will help to open the blocked Ureter???Then we will change the appointment if any medicine can help.Looking forward to hearing from you asap.regardsPari

Dear

There have been no or very little Clinical researches which suggest that Ayurvedic medicine are safe in children or not but yes there are many medicine which help restore kidney functions as per ayurveda.

What we can do here is start with little dose and carefully select the Herbal medicines ,then after the response we can take up other Medicine which are herbo-mineral in nature.

Though visiting a Ayurvedic doctor in person is a must ,you may start with some medicine like:

Varunadi Kashayam or Divya Ashmarihar kwath 10 ml mixed with Giloya satva 250 mg twice a day.

Also Neeri will 1 tab.twice daily with above said medicine.

Yoga : Though your child is fairly young but asnas given in the C.D,yoga vcd for kidney which he thinks can practice with ease
