Your husband can take Sukumara lehyam - 1tsp before food twice daily and Addyzoa Capsules for 3months and can be reviewed. He can avoid hot baths, tight underwears, continuous cycling and working with the laptop in the lap.

Include figs, black gram, nuts, complex carbohydrates, ghee, sesame oil, banana, milk, green leafy vegetables, fiber, curd and dates. Avoid excess meat, caffeine, salt, sugar and oil. Please let me know the ASO titre value to guide you further. It is seen commonly elevated in Rheumatic fever and with infections. Penicillin is advised to reduce the infection and please follow the advise of your treating physician. Ayurvedic medicines can be taken to reduce the inflammation or the symptoms.

Ayurvedic medicines like are Amrthothara kvath - 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily, Divya Ajamodadi Churna and Yograj Guggulu can be given for a month and then reviewed.

Include pepper, turmeric, coriander, ginger, garlic, tulsi and asafoetida. Reduce excess meat, sweets, canned foods, carbonated beverages, salt and oil. Gentle exercise will be beneficial to improve the strength of the joints. Please do have the advised regular checkups.
