I have had slipped disk problem since March 2009, the pain is on the right hand side of my buttocks and now its spreading down to my right leg. Guru Ji please please tell me the right exercises of yoga to cure this problem and what precaution should i take. For a while I am taking Tryodashang guggul and chandraprabha vati 3 times a day. Please help me Guru Ji i don want to live life in this pain. I will be very very thankful.

Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Slip disc is a common term used for intervertebral disc bulge or disc prolapse. This medical condition is termed as spinal disc herniation. The unusual pressure on spinal cord due to pregnancy, accident or movements etc results in tear of outer fibrous ring of the intervertebral disc. This tear results in bulging of inner soft part which pains a lot with or without any pressure. We recommend you to take complete rest and avoid all exercises and yoga till complete relief. Do not bend forward and do not lift weight. Take rest as much as you can. Apart from rest start with DIVYA MAHAYOGRAJA GUGGULU and DIVYA VATARI CHURANA should be taken together regularly with DIVYA PIDANTAK KWATH. Take these medicines regularly two to three times a day. These are safe ayurvedic medicines to restore the natural anatomical structure of spinal cord and intervertebral disc. These are very good anti-inflammatory medicines and have very good pain killer action. Apart from these medicines hot fomentation is very useful in instant relief from pain. You can take benefit of katibasti a special panchkarma technique to get relief in slip disc problem. Regular medication will solve your problem very soon.
