Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

There are increased chances to form gall stones during pregnancy due to the harmone progesterone. Symptoms of galls stones are seen after delivery due to the hormonal changes. Following healthy diet and exercise helps to control the symptoms and manage the pain.

As far as the medicines are concerned, you can visit you nearest Ayurvedic doctor after weaning and then she can take Ayurvedic medicines. Surgery is considered as a last resort to reduce pain. Stones smaller than 5mm are efficiently managed with medicines. Applying warm compress over the abdomen will help to reduce the pain.

Please consult your nearest doctor if there is severe pain. Chronic pain and inflammation in the gall bladder can cause infection and even lead to pancreatitis.

Include plantain stem, turmeric, coriander, asafoetida, horse gram, ginger, bottle gourd and garlic. Reduce excess oil, canned foods, meat, butter, ghee, caffeine and dairy products. Reducing weight gradually is advisable and drinking enough water will be beneficial.
